How You’ll Make An Impact
- Preparation of complete transport and customs documentation, including specific requirements for dangerous goods when applicable.
- Ordering and coordinating transports across all modes based on defined dates, preferred carriers and transportation contracts.
- Coordinating goods pickup with suppliers and ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Managing and monitoring transport activities, providing updates on transport details and current status to all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinating with internal and external partners,
including logistics service providers, carriers, suppliers and project teams, to resolve discrepancies, delays and damages.
- Supporting process optimization and performing order-to-invoice verification for logistics services.
What You Bring
- Bachelor in a business field (supply chain, logistics or similar) or education with relevant work experience alternatively and e.g forwarding agent/Manager
- 2 - 4 years of experience in Transportation Management covering all modes (air, sea, ground, processing, transport ordering and monitoring, project logistics)
- Experience in managing Logistics Services is already gained by ensuring accurate, on time and economical delivery services to suit customer needs and/or meet internal project requirements
- Preferably basic knowledge in export processes and documents
- High analytical ability, customer & solution orientation as well as your social competence, assertiveness
