Summary
The Junior Developer in this role will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting business applications, automated workflows, and simple AI solutions for General Services. Primarily responsible for low-code/no-code development, front-end web interfaces, user experience (UX) prototyping, and basic process automation. Works closely with internal stakeholders to analyze requirements, implement changes, test functionality, and document reports/programs to improve operational efficiency.

Primary Accountabilities

Application & Low-Code Development: Build, maintain, and support low-code applications (Power Apps) and front-end web components.

Process Automation & AI Integration: Create automated workflows (Power Automate) and integrate basic AI agents/chatbots (Copilot Studio) to streamline business processes.

UX/UI Prototyping: Design clean, functional, and user-friendly visual wireframes/prototypes in Figma prior to application implementation.

Support & Maintenance: Debug, test, and troubleshoot existing tools, reports, and applications.

Documentation & Analysis: Analyze business requirements, document workflows, and create user guides/training materials for implemented solutions.

Requirements
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

1 to 2 years of practical experience in Web Development, Process Automation, or Low-Code application development (internships or academic/personal projects apply).

Technical Proficiencies

Low-Code & AI Platforms: Hands-on experience or solid working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio / AI Agents).

Front-End & Web Fundamentals: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks like React.

UI/UX Design: Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and layout creation using tools like Figma .

Database & Data Structure: Basic understanding of relational databases (SQL) and cloud data sources (SharePoint lists, Dataverse, Excel tables).

Nice to Have (Bonus)

Knowledge of TypeScript and Next.js.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Google Enterprise tools (Google Workspace Apps Script, Workspace APIs).

Exposure to RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere).

Soft Skills & Languages

English proficiency (Intermediate to Advanced — professional communication skills).

Strong problem-solving abilities, willingness to learn, and high attention to detail.
