We are currently seeking ASL Interpreter (VRI)

Qualifications

- Required Minimum one (1) year of professional American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting experience.
- Native or near-native fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
- Excellent receptive and expressive ASL interpreting skills.
- Strong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret complex conversations across multiple industries and subject matters.
- Experience providing Video Remote Interpreting (VRI).
- Strong understanding of Deaf culture and demonstrated cultural competency.
- Ability to maintain neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality in accordance with RID Code of Professional Ability to remain calm, impartial, and effective during high-pressure, emotional, or sensitive interactions.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with computers and the ability to efficiently navigate multiple software applications and video conferencing platforms simultaneously.
- Must be VRI ready
- Must be available to support prescheduled calls during their working hours
