Job Description

Is responsible for managing commodities/categories on a global basis, including goods and services that support the company and its customers.



The primary objective of this role is to provide best-in-class Global Procurement customer experience to our clients while maximizing the value of their budget returns. Buying the right things, at the right price, in the right quantity, to achieve the right results.

How you will make your mark
- Lead the analysis of specific commodity data and industry trends or lead an individual supply chain sub-category.
- Participate as a member of a cross‑functional team (may lead specific projects).
- Meet with stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into procurement plans.
- Participate in supplier selection activities.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Engage with low‑complexity suppliers to negotiate commercials and acceptable contracting outcomes using pre‑packed solutions.
- Negotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions.
- Execute risk mitigation, business continuity, cost management, and operation strategies.
