Inthisrole,youwillmanagetheoperationalpurchasingactivitiesforassigneddirectmaterialcategories,supporttheimplementationoflocal,regional,andglobalsourcingstrategies,andcollaboratecloselywithinternalstakeholdersandsuppliers.Youwillberesponsibleforsuppliernegotiations,costanalysis,contractimplementation,sourcingprojects,supplierperformance,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.

Thepositionrequiresautonomy,stronganalyticalcapabilities,advancednegotiationskills,andtheabilitytooperateeffectivelyinamulticulturalandcross-functionalenvironment.Therolesupportsbothinternalandexternalcustomersandoffersapotentialdevelopmentpathtowardamanagementposition.

KeyResponsibilities

ManagepurchasingactivitiesforassigneddirectmaterialcategoriesinaccordancewithSKFpurchasingstrategies,policies,andestablishedframeworks.

Reviewpurchaserequisitionsandidentifyappropriatesourcesofsupplyforoperationalandspot-buyingrequirements.

Negotiatecommercialconditionsandexecutesupplieragreementswithintheassignedlevelofauthority.

Selectsuppliersandcontractsbasedonpurchasingstrategies,operationalrequirements,costcompetitiveness,quality,delivery,andapplicableprocedures.

Adviseinternalstakeholdersthroughoutthepurchasingcycle,includingtheevaluationofcost-effectivealternativesandtheresolutionofpurchasing-relatedissues.

Collaboratewithsuppliersandinternaluserstoresolvecommercial,operational,quality,andsupply-relatedconflicts.

MonitorsupplierperformanceaccordingtoestablishedQCDIMprocessesandcoordinatecorrectiveactionswhenrequired.

Trackpurchasingspend,supplierpricing,materialcosts,forecasts,andvolumestosupportbusinessplanningandstandardcostcalculations.

Supporttheimplementationofpurchasingprocesses,systems,sustainabilityrequirements,CSRinitiatives,andsupplierdevelopmentactivities.
