- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout factories across the full value stream, including suppliers, internal operations, and customers
- Guide, coach, and mentor the Carrier Excellence Operating System through structured processes and improvement initiatives in manufacturing and business processes
- Drive sustainable business improvements and foster a teamwork environment
- Help Site Managers translate business goals, initiatives, and improvement targets into CI initiatives for site Macro Plans
- Provide CI training and develop Carrier Excellence and Lean capabilities
- Train Cx champions and influencers and enable framework rollouts
- Lead Kaizen events and projects aligned to performance and foundational gaps
- Enable communication and implementation of best practices
- Facilitate and guide the CI framework resulting in site certifications
- Promote Carrier culture and values
- Develop and mentor CI resources and event leaders
- Remove project-level barriers and support Lean resources
- Communicate Lean initiatives and share best practices
- Evaluate process automation opportunities supporting Lean transformation
- Perform assessments and risk assessments supporting Carrier Excellence initiatives
- Report to the Cx & Lean Americas Leader
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations with progressive leadership and technical responsibilities
- 3+ years of Lean, Six Sigma, or OpEx experience
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Value Stream Mapping, Manufacturing Standard Work, and Cell Design
- Knowledge of Integrated Production & Logistics and logistics from the line back, including PFEP, material presentation, takt time delivery, supermarket design, and inbound logistics
- Knowledge of Supplier Integration and Lean Transformation
- Previous experience leading cross-functional Kaizen teams
- Proven ability to build teams, work toward common goals,
and deliver results with pace
- Hands-on execution experience and demonstrated field results
- Ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action
- Customer-focused problem-solving ability
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Project management skills
- Strong usage of Microsoft Office products
- ERP systems experience desirable
- Analytical skills and Minitab experience preferred
- Understanding of health and safety industry standards
- Ability to work on own initiative and be self-directed
- Trainer capabilities
- Successful candidate must obtain certification through the Carrier Excellence practitioner program within the first 1.5 years
