ROHM Semiconductor is looking for a talented and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join our Distribution team This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about our customers and product offering while utilizing your customer service, sales, and technical skills. You will communicate with current and future customers and internal business units, helping with sales support, product education, product selection, quoting and order coordination. You will be responsible for supporting ROHM's regional sales teams in performing customer-facing activities, internal opportunity management, and general channel sales support. Each day offers a variety of fun and exciting challenges for you to tackle, including but not limited to:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the DigiKey marketplace program
- Update NBO’s in CLV as needed
- Manage the New Product Introduction process including coordinating with CSR’s
- Analyze and Send Part Change Notices to distributor partners
- Manage CLV quote approval entries as needed
- Analyze and manage the process of updating the status in the master cost book
- Assist with Lead tracking/updates as needed via the Sales Support Helpdesk
- Assist with customer support inquiries via the Engineering Support Helpdesk
- Sample program management and coordination with the Digi-Key sample program team
- Perform customer/distributor-facing duties as needed
- Serve as back-up support (cross-trained) for our pricing help desk and registration help desk
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales/marketing or related field or equivalent education/training and work experience
- Minimum 1-3 years' of experience in customer service or inside sales capacity preferably in the semiconductor, electronics, or software industry
- Demonstrated ability to move leads through entire sales process independently
- Semiconductor or electronics industry experience
- Fluent English is required to
