Your role
- Support the technical analysis, validation, and evaluation of alternative electronic components as part of the organization's global Multisource Strategy.
- This role involves assessing component compatibility, supporting validation activities, analyzing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure component alternatives meet quality, performance, and project requirements.
- Support the technical assessment of alternative electronic components and suppliers.
- Analyze electrical specifications, datasheets, application notes,
and technical documentation.
- Perform component comparison activities to evaluate compatibility with existing designs.
- Assist in identifying technical impacts associated with component substitutions.
- Execute validation and verification activities on electronic components under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support laboratory testing, functional testing, and electrical characterization activities.
- Document test results, observations, and technical findings.
- Participate in root cause investigations related to component performance or validation issues.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Systems, Quality teams during component evaluations.
- Support engineering change activities related to component replacement initiatives.
