Operate focusing ontranslating technical strategy into deployable solutions, executable methodologies, and operational performance in nearshore markets.
The role is deeply anchored inLATAM nearshore applications (LNG, FLNG, desalination, offshore wind, coastal infrastructure) and is accountable for ensuring that Fugro’s technical differentiation results insafe, efficient, and profitable project delivery.
1. Strategic Alignment with NSI Service Line (Americas)
- Act as theprimary LATAM counterpart to the NSI Service Line
- Ensure alignment between:Global NSI strategy and LATAM execution capabilityTechnology deployment and asset strategyStandards, methodologies, and workflows
- Drive two-way integration:Adapt general capabilities to regional conditionsFeed LATAM requirements and opportunities into global roadmap
- Co-lead strategic bids and complex opportunities requiring service line involvement
2. Technical Leadership - Nearshore Applications Focus
- Leadapplication-driven technical support for nearshore and marine projects
- Maintain deep expertise in LATAM nearshore applications, including:LNG and FLNG developmentsDesalination intake/outfall systemsOffshore wind (fixed and floating)Coastal and port infrastructure
- Translate applications into:Standardized investigation approachesExecution methodologiesScalable delivery frameworks
- Provide senior technical authority in key client engagements and solution definition
3. Operational Leadership & Execution Accountability (NSI)
- Owntechnical and operational readiness for NSI and integrated marine projects:Resource planning (people, equipment, spreads, vessels as applicable)Execution strategies and methodologiesLogistics and mobilization planning
- Ensure alignment betweenas-bid and as-executed delivery
- Act asregional authority
