About The Role

AI is rapidly being applied to some of the most complex challenges in public policy and economics — and it needs expert guidance to get things right. We're looking for experienced public policy economists to help evaluate and improve how AI understands economic reasoning, policy analysis, and real-world tradeoffs.

Your expertise will directly shape how leading AI systems think about regulation, welfare programs, fiscal policy, and more. This is a adaptable, fully remote contract role where your knowledge makes a measurable difference.

What You'll Do

Review and evaluate AI-generated public policy analysis and applied economics content for accuracy and rigor
Assess economic reasoning across topics such as regulation, public welfare, fiscal policy, and program design
Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve clarity, depth, and real-world relevance
Validate economic scenarios, assumptions,



and conclusions using your professional judgment
Work independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule, at your own pace

Who You Are

3+ years of experience in public policy, applied economics, or a closely related field
Strong command of policy analysis frameworks and economic tradeoff reasoning
Able to critically evaluate written economic arguments and provide actionable feedback
Clear, confident written communicator
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Nice to Have

Graduate degree in Economics, Public Policy, or a related discipline
Background in government, think tanks, academic research, or policy consulting
Familiarity with AI systems or content evaluation workflows
