job summary: we are looking for an experienced senior qe/test automation engineer with a strong background in mobile application testing and automation. The adecuado candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks for i os and android applications while driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Key responsibilities: design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for mobile applications. Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and quality risks. Integrate automation into ci/cd pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
Collaborate closely with qa, development, and product teams to improve product quality. Perform root-cause analysis of test failures and support issue resolution. Mentor junior team members and promote automation best practices. Required skills & experience: 5+ years of experience in qa/test automation strong experience testing mobile applications (i os & android) hands-on experience with appium, selenium, espresso, xctest, or similar tools programming experience with java, python, swift, or related languages experience with ci/cd tools such as jenkins, git lab ci, or travis ci strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills experience working in agile environments nice to have: exposure to ai-assisted testing or agentic ai concepts hands-on experience with cursor ide testing or automation certifications
