your key qualifications:

- bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; master’s degree preferred.




- 8+ years of experience in power transformer electrical design.
- strong knowledge of transformer design principles, electrical calculations, and analytical software.
- experience with ieee c57, ansi, and iec standards.
- experience working with utilities, consulting engineers, and epc customers.
- experience with transformer design software such as academ, tres, ansys maxwell, comsol, matlab, or equivalent is preferred.
- advanced english

what you’ll do:

- lead the electrical design and technical review of large power transformers.
- perform calculations related to impedance, losses, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, dielectric design, insulation coordination, and cooling systems.
- participate in customer design reviews and provide technical support to utilities and consulting firms.
- support factory acceptance tests, root cause analysis, engineering changes, and field technical investigations.
- provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
