Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Freight Manager role based in Hamamatsu.



The Freight Manager oversees ocean freight operations, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring import and export shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery. The role includes managing relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners, resolving service issues, and supporting internal stakeholders with shipment status, documentation, and customer service. The Freight Manager will analyze freight performance, optimize routes and costs, ensure adherence to regulatory and trade compliance requirements, and maintain accurate records in logistics systems. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement in freight and logistics processes.
