How you will create an impact
* Assisting underwriters in evaluating insurance applications
* Reviewing risk submissions and determine if they meet underwriting
guidelines, relevant underwriting authority and AIG principles.
* Gathering and verifying information from various sources, such as clients,
agents, and databases.
* Assisting in the preparation of underwriting reports and proposals.
* Collaborating with other departments, such as claims and sales, to ensure
accurate risk assessment.
* Providing support in policy issuance and endorsement processes.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation of underwriting activities.
* Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and changes in underwriting
guidelines.
* Providing excellent customer service to clients and agents, addressing
inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Pursuing a Bachelor’s, graduating in 2026 (or 2024/2025: Administration,
Finance, Accounting and other related courses and availability for full-time
employment, starting in July.
* Passion for Corporate Finance.
* Enthusiastic and committed to pursuing a career in the integral insurance
industry.
* Advanced English Skills.
* Excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of
applications
* A curious nature and a customer service mindset with good communication
skills (verbal and written).
