We are seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to join our team at Marsh. This role
will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of
working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior Telecom Engineer,
you will own the full lifecycle of enterprise network solutions — from
requirements gathering and design through build, deployment, and production
certification. You'll lead a portfolio of projects of varying scales, serving as
the primary owner of all Telecom Operations deliverables and coordinating
cross-functional resources to drive successful outcomes.
We will count on you to:
Engineering & Design
* Translate business requirements into scalable enterprise network designs
using proven engineering standards and best practices
* Produce comprehensive design documentation and maintain accurate as-built
records throughout the project lifecycle
* Develop implementation playbooks and detailed approaches for bringing
solutions and services into production
* Lead pre-configuration,
pre-production testing, POC, and pilot activities
Deployment & Delivery
* Deploy solution infrastructure in alignment with defined rack elevations,
including all required network cabling and connectivity
* Complete all configurations necessary to bring infrastructure and services
live in the production environment
* Conduct end-to-end testing, document results, and provide production
certification
* Facilitate project review meetings and formal operational turnover to support
teams
Operations & Incident Management
* Monitor incident queues; troubleshoot, resolve, or assign tickets as required
* Perform Tier III and deep-dive root cause analysis on complex or elusive
issues
* Take ownership of chronic and persistent incidents, engaging vendors and
suppliers for resolution as needed
* Support operations teams with hands-on technical troubleshooting during major
incidents and outages
