Role Description
The Business Developer Food & Beverage and Pharma at Rittal México is a full-time hybrid role based in Mexico City, Mexico, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the food & beverage and pharmaceutical sectors, focusing on Rittal’s industrial and enclosure solutions. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting market and competitor research, preparing proposals, and managing the sales pipeline from first contact through closing. The role collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to design tailored solutions, deliver product presentations and demonstrations, and support negotiations with customers and partners. The Business Developer also maintains ongoing relationships with key accounts, ensures high-quality customer service, and provides feedback to internal teams to refine offerings and go-to-market strategies.

- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, evaluate opportunities,



and interpret sales and performance data.
- Effective communication skills to present solutions, negotiate with stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Lead generation and prospecting skills to identify potential clients, build pipelines, and drive new business in food & beverage and pharma markets.
- Market research capabilities to understand customer needs, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes in relevant industries.
- Customer service orientation to sustain long-term relationships, respond to client inquiries, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within industrial equipment, automation, or related sectors.
- Knowledge of food & beverage and pharmaceutical industry processes, standards, and compliance requirements is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
