WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Create, review, maintain and provide guidance on welding procedures (WPS), welding specifications and standard operating procedures for each product family.
- Inspecting weld samples and/or non-destructive test (NDT) to evaluate weld quality.
- Set up welding qualification tests and keep welder qualifications updated and current as required.
- Design, develop and implement fixtures for the welding processes.
- Provide technical guidance and training on welding methods.




- Ensure welders fully understand and correctly interpret the requirements of drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement ECN and/or NPI ensuring compliance of all weld requirements in drawings.
- Work closely with production team and synchro team ensuring successful completion of welding processes in terms of costs and quality.
- Evaluate welding equipment capabilities and lead capital equipment justification and procurement.
- Directly troubleshooting welding and quality problems in the floor with material, equipment, wire feeders, etc.
- ISO Certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years relevant welding experience.
