Position/Job Purpose
- Overall responsibility for developing a compliance plan to ensure processes and procedures in Bank of China México are aligned with applicable rules and regulations. Provide guidance on implementing compliance plan, perform compliance testing reviews, training and reporting on quarterly basis the Compliance plan status.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of the Annual Compliance Program, including policies, guidelines, training and communication covering existing and new/amended regulations.
- Act as Compliance Officer for the SPEI and SPID payment systems, ensuring full adherence to Banco de México (Banxico) operating rules, contingency requirements and related reporting obligations.
- Manage all compliance obligations related to the Transfers Database (BDT), ensuring accurate, complete and timely submission of information to Banxico.
- Ensure understanding, implementation and ongoing observance of the CUB (Circular Única de Bancos – General Provisions Applicable to Credit Institutions)



across all business and operational units.
- Lead the AML/CFT (PLD/FT) function in accordance with CNBV requirements, including oversight of transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting and liaison with the authority.
- Provide enabling guidance and technical expertise to Business Units on compliance requirements, new products, distribution channels and other business initiatives.
- Design and conduct compliance and internal control training across all Business, Operational and Corporate Infrastructure Units, including induction for new employees and ongoing training for staff and outsourced personnel.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the Compliance Program on a continuing basis and report quarterly to Senior Management and the local Board of Directors.
