Role Description
This is a full-time remote role focused on historical documentary research and scriptwriting. The role involves identifying and analyzing primary and secondary sources, including archives, libraries, interviews, and digital repositories, to build accurate historical foundations for documentary projects.



The team member will synthesize research into clear outlines, treatments, and scripts, ensuring narrative coherence, factual rigor, and alignment with the project’s creative vision. Daily tasks include collaborating with directors and producers, preparing research dossiers, verifying historical data, and adapting scripts based on editorial feedback. The role may also involve participating in pre-production planning, contributing to visual research, and supporting the development of educational or outreach materials related to each documentary.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in historical research, source analysis, and critical evaluation of archival and bibliographic materials.
- Demonstrated ability in documentary scriptwriting, including structuring narratives, developing treatments, and writing clear, engaging dialogue and voiceover.
