Your Role

Publicis Groupe is looking for an experienced Senior Business Affairs Rights Manager, or someone with comparable Business Affairs experience, to join a new account team.

This newly created role will coordinate global rights management activity with a primary focus on North America and oversight of global requests, including the administration of licensed IP rights data for original creative assets and renewals for adapted or localised work. Working closely with regional and global offices, the role will bring union and non-union talent expertise, third party rights management and guidance, and standardised protocols to a new account ecosystem.

Reporting to a US Business Affairs lead,



the successful candidate will play a key role within a growing BA team, working with colleagues across the USA, UK and wider Groupe.

Job Description
- Build strong relationships with North American regional teams, including Account Leads, Production Planners, Producers, Ops Leads and BA departments.
- Work with third-party Creative Agency teams to monitor new origination projects and manage handover to Publicis.
- Review completion reports, resolve missing or inaccurate information, and ensure each job is closed correctly for BA management.
- Maintain and update rights records for extensions and renewals, including preparing paperwork to secure extended rights for third-party IP and supporting required payments, while providing strategic input on risk assessment, cost optimization and negotiation approach.
