Job Description:
This role exists to take ownership of day-to-day operations, freeing up the CEO to focus on business development and corporate bookkeeping. The successful candidate will start by learning the customer support function and then move into owning operations and process for the entire company, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
The role involves team leadership, optimizing operations and processes, managing technology and innovation, and ensuring legal and compliance standards are met. The first year will focus on learning the team and operations, documenting processes, shaping employee experience, and taking full ownership of leadership meetings and operational tasks.
Responsibilities of the role:
• Directly manage customer support staff and learn the support function.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture.
• Mentor staff, manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Run weekly 1:1s, Leadership Team meetings, and quarterly reviews.
• Drive tasks to completion,
ensuring they are done on time and well.
• Take ownership of operations and processes, freeing up CEO and team focus.
• Audit workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
• Implement best practices in property management, maintenance, and tenant relations.
• Continuously improve employee workflows, SOPs, and company policies.
• Develop and manage department KPIs/scorecards.
• Monitor and respond to public reviews.
• Proactively manage and optimize the technology stack.
• Build and improve workflows, including using AI.
• Organize company knowledge in Google Workspace.
• Ensure compliance with real estate laws, local codes, and Fair Housing regulations.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
• 1+ year of property management experience required.
• Comfortable and confident with numbers.
• Ability to rapidly learn and master new software.
