Quick Rundown:
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that maintenance requests and services are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. This position focuses on managing vendor relationships, overseeing tenant maintenance requests, and ensuring that property maintenance standards are met. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional service to residents, vendors, owners, and internal team members while working closely with Property Supervisors to manage maintenance processes and workflows

What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents in need of maintenance services.
- Listen to maintenance concerns, identify issues, and coordinate timely resolution.
- Identify, schedule, and manage appropriate vendors to address maintenance repairs and requests.
- Communicate vendor schedules and updates to residents,



ensuring a smooth coordination of services.
- Follow up with both vendors and residents to confirm that maintenance repairs have been completed satisfactorily.
- Address any follow-up work required and ensure completion.
- Charge tenants for maintenance invoices and expenses that they are responsible for.
- Ensure that all charges are accurate and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Generate and distribute 24-hour notices to enter properties for inspections, repairs, and other necessary tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities and resident communications.
- Coordinate with city inspectors, housing programs, Section 8, fire department, and other agencies for urgent maintenance or repair needs.
- Address and manage any city citations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
