Position Summary
The Lead Internal Auditor will serve as the primary audit and SOX 404 authority for RealTruck’s Mexico region, overseeing multiple manufacturing plants and related support functions. Operating with a high degree of independence, this role will partner directly with plant leadership, finance, operations, and IT to drive strong internal controls, ensure SOX 404 compliance, and elevate operational effectiveness across the region.

This position will play a critical role in designing, evaluating, and testing internal controls, including business process controls, IT general controls (ITGCs), and key application controls. In addition to SOX responsibilities, this position will proactively review end‑to‑end manufacturing and operational processes to identify control gaps, strengthen risk mitigation, improve efficiency, and drive cost‑saving opportunities across the location.

Core Functions
- Regional audit leadership — Serve as the lead Internal Auditor for Mexico operations, overseeing audit and SOX 404 activities across multiple manufacturing plants.




- Strategic partnership — Build strong relationships with plant and functional leaders to drive compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Control design & evaluation — Lead the design, assessment, and testing of business process controls, ITGCs, and key application controls.
- SOX 404 program ownership — Independently plan, execute, and document SOX 404 walkthroughs, control design assessments, and operating effectiveness testing.
- End‑to‑end process reviews — Conduct comprehensive reviews of manufacturing, inventory, procurement, cost accounting, and financial close processes to identify control gaps and efficiency opportunities.
- Risk assessment — Evaluate risks related to manual processes, system configurations, plant‑level activities, and management override; design and recommend sustainable mitigation strategies.
