At emcorsoft, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Mid-Level Manual QA Engineer
based in Latin America to join our international team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and user experience of our web and mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers. You role will be to identify software defects early and advocate for the end user throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Test Case Management:
Design, execute, and maintain detailed, structured test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on software specifications and user stories.
- Defect Tracking & Reporting:
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through project management tools. Deliver clear, actionable steps to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
- End-to-End & Exploratory Testing:




Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms to catch edge cases and ensure system reliability.
- API & Integration Testing:
Perform basic API testing to validate backend functionality, status codes, and data payload accuracy.
- Cross-Browser & Multi-Device Verification:
Ensure seamless user experiences across major browsers, operating systems, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
- Agile Collaboration:
Participate actively in daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience:
3+ years of professional experience as a Manual QA Engineer working with web and mobile platforms.
- Location:
Based in Latin America (LATAM) with availability to work full-time as an independent contractor.
