What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for the design and build of equipment and managing the implementation of improvement solutions for the production floor in the areas of personnel and equipment utilization.
- Design and build equipment for specific business units or customers to use.
- Develop processes, procedures and testing for business units and customers; generally for distribution and production centers. Create, maintain and provide documentation.
- Provide support for business units; new product introduction, provide technical training support – develop, update and maintain instructional documents and process instructions to assist in production within the unit, parts ordering, facility layout.
- Manage implementation of improvement solutions or new product introductions; identify areas to improve equipment, process or personnel utilization on the production floor. Monitor implemented solutions and present findings to appropriate management groups as needed. Update manufacturing instructions.
- Resolve manufacturing issues,
address production, design, construct and debug operations and determine efficiency; respond to floor issues as circumstances dictate or calculate labor to production floor.
- Provide support to new equipment or processes development purposes.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 2–4 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Adaptable, adaptable, and able to support a variety of business needs and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
Even Better If You Have
- Experience with Oracle ERP.
- Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent.
Work Arrangement
- Fully Office - 5 days in office
