We are seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to lead the transformation of a large-scale

legacy application into a modern, scalable, event-driven platform. This role requires

deep expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and modern software architecture practices,

with a strong focus on Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Development

(EDD), cloud-native solutions, and application modernization.

The idóneo candidate is a hands-on technical expert who can analyze complex legacy

systems, design modern architectures, optimize database performance, and drive

development initiatives independently while collaborating effectively with cross-

functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience

 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with Microsoft

technologies.

 Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve engineering

productivity.

 Strong understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture principles,

and distributed systems concepts.

 Experience working with legacy .NET Framework applications and modernization

initiatives.





 Solid understanding and practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

 Hands-on experience implementing Event-Driven Architecture and asynchronous

messaging solutions.

 Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including:

o Transact-SQL (T-SQL)

o Stored procedures

o Query optimization

o Performance tuning

o Indexing strategies

o Database design

 Experience with AWS cloud services, including:

o Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS)

o Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS)

o Amazon Event Bridge

o AWS Lambda, Step Functions

 Experience working with message brokers, service brokers, or enterprise

messaging platforms.

 Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.

Nice to Have Skills

 Experience modernizing monolithic applications into service-oriented or event-

driven architecture.

 Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems design.


