Planning, coordinating and managing procurement projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
Coordinating sourcing activities to ensure timely availability of materials and services for projects and production
Managing project-related procurement activities in close cooperation with Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Quality departments
Monitoring project schedules, procurement milestones, budgets and supplier performance
Supporting supplier selection, evaluation and contract implementation in accordance with company requirements
Identifying procurement risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures
Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring timely escalation of supply chain issues
Preparing project status reports, procurement analyses and proposals for corrective actions
Coordinating project meetings with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Ensuring compliance with company procurement procedures, contractual requirements and applicable regulations
What Qualifications You Should Have
Successfully completed degree in Supply Chain Management,
Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable field of study
Several years (4-6 years) of professional experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Project Procurement, preferably in manufacturing, automotive or defense industry
Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and contract administration
Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is considered an advantage)
Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Independent and self-reliant way of working
Willingness to business travel
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Romanian; German language skills are considered an advantage
