Buckland is looking for a Legal Specialist
What you’ll be doing
The Legal Specialist supports the Legal Director in managing the Company’s day-to-day legal and compliance activities, including coordinating and tracking contracts, claims, and other legal matters. This role conducts legal research, prepares analyses and documentation, and maintains legal records and systems. The position also collaborates with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure efficient legal operations and timely, informed decision-making.

You will be responsible for
Provide day-to-day legal support to the Legal Director on assigned legal and compliance matters.
Review legal documents, commercial agreements, customer claims, operational incidents, and other legal matters; conduct legal research; and prepare summaries, analyses, and recommendations.
Draft,



review, update, and maintain legal templates, forms, contracts, and other standard legal documentation, as assigned.
Maintain the Company's legal repository, contract lifecycle records, legal trackers, document version control, and filing systems.
Support the implementation and administration of corporate compliance initiatives, including policies, training, compliance documentation, and internal assessments.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and other third parties on assigned legal matters.
Support the continuous improvement of legal and compliance processes, document management, templates, workflows, and reporting.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Legal Director.
What we need from you
Law degree required
3+ years of relevant legal experience in an in-house legal department or law firm, with a focus on corporate law, commercial contracts
