Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Client Engineering Platform Engineer, you will drive IBM sales execution by ensuring pilot platforms are engineered to deliver customer technical and business outcomes and improve deployment of Client Engineering pilots. You will work closely with other Client Engineering roles to deploy the foundation for comprehensive pilot solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Deploy Pilot Platforms: Engineer pilot platforms to deliver customer technical and business outcomes, ensuring successful deployment of Client Engineering pilots across Hybrid Cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Client Engineering Roles: Work closely with other Client Engineering roles to deploy the foundation for comprehensive pilot solutions, providing deep technical expertise in your area of focus.
- Provide Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Hybrid Cloud platforms, including OpenShift and the hypervisors/cloud providers on which it runs, as well as managed offerings such as ROKS, ROSA & ARO.
- Deploy IBM Strategic Software:



Demonstrate deep knowledge for deployment of watsonx and other IBM strategic software across the Hybrid Cloud using DevOps and MLOps practices.
- Ensure Successful Deployment: Improve deployment of Client Engineering pilots, ensuring successful delivery of customer technical and business outcomes.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Hybrid Cloud Expertise: Exposure to deploying solutions across Hybrid Cloud environments, including OpenShift and the hypervisors/cloud providers on which it runs.
- Deep Technical Knowledge: Experience working with managed offerings such as ROKS, ROSA & ARO, demonstrating a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
- DevOps and MLOps Practices: Exposure to deploying IBM strategic software, including watsonx, across the Hybrid Cloud using DevOps and MLOps practices.
- Technical Solution Deployment: Experience deploying comprehensive pilot solutions,
