About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
POD QA Lead
with a strong background in manual testing and hands-on exposure to test automation. This role will primarily focus on manual testing while leading the QA activities for one or two agile PODs.

The adecuado candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, solid testing fundamentals, and the ability to coordinate QA efforts across development, product, and release teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary QA point of contact for assigned PODs.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across one or two agile teams.
- Review requirements, user stories, features, descriptions, and acceptance criteria to confirm they are testable and sprint-ready.
- Identify testing requirements and create comprehensive test cases and scenarios for functional and regression testing.
- Execute test cases, analyze results, document defects, and proactively follow up on issues affecting testing.
- Review test cases with Product Owners and maintain the master regression suite.




- Identify test cases suitable for automation and update their automation status accordingly.
- Provide testing estimates, create sprint tasks, and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and QA team members to resolve issues and support release activities.
- Communicate risks, blockers, accomplishments, mitigation plans, and testing updates to QA leadership.
- Represent the POD QA team during release readiness, release finalization, and release management meetings.
- Provide QA sign-off for QA, pre-production, post-production, and post-release testing stages.
- Ensure appropriate testing coverage for production deployments.
- Maintain release deployment information for assigned PODs.
- Facilitate regular communication and weekly checkpoint meetings with POD QA team members.
- Provide guidance and support to QA team members as the testing subject matter expert
