Your Role at Baxter
The Taxes Supervisor is responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of tax obligations—both local and corporate—for the assigned legal entities within the cluster, related to direct taxes. Lead tax strategies to optimize the tax burden of those entities (direct taxes),
proactively engage in business projects and processes that have tax implications (invoicing, bids/tenders, definition of tax rates for billing, invoice review processes for payment, ERP implementation, IFRS adoption, etc.).
Also, interact and act as the main point of contact with corporate teams and external/internal auditors regarding tax matters (direct taxes) for all legal entities. Provide support in indirect tax processes when required due to geographic needs (on-site support, payment processing on tax authority platforms) or to align impacts on direct taxes (review of filings or positions) for the assigned cluster entities
