This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and
knowledge in the following technologies: Design of mechanical systems, devices,
equipment and machines; installing and maintaining mechanically functioning
equipment; simulating a wide range of interactions and evaluate performance in
real world scenarios; and develop prototype for manufacturability, testing and
validation.

area and knowledge of how it applies to the vehicle / system / component.
*Ownership of standards / specifications for subject material / technology.
*Lead applicable issue resolution with root cause analysis and appropriate
laboratory testing.
*Identify, assess and develop experiments using diverse metallic and polymers
materials using advanced characterization techniques.
*Ensure that preferred practices, materials and processes are implemented on
current and new vehicles programs to achieve Stellantis global procedures
*Ensure all enablers are properly utilized and released to meet materials
functional objectives for integral and regional and local targets.
*Provide support for vehicle/component materials validation
*Resolve issues related to corrosion prevention, metallic and organic/polymeric
materials performance.
*Follow up the maintenance and calibration for selected equipment in the
Laboratory.
*Design, develop, and assess laboratory test procedures and write reports based
on Laboratory experimental tests results.
YOUR ROLE
* Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials Science,
Mechanical Engineering.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to write in depth technical reports and detailed technical
specifications.
Self-starter, able to work independently as well as in a team, able to follow
directions and to make job related decisions.
