YOUR ROLE
Focus on Mechanical and Physical Engineering. Develops competency in own area of expertise. Shares expertise and provides guidance and support to others. Interprets clients needs. Completes own role independently or with minimum supervision. Identifies problems and relevant issues in straight forward situations and generates solutions. Contributes in teamwork and interacts with customers.
- Participate in Cost estimation and should cost for components analyzing material, manufacturing process,
labor and machine rates, tooling, and other aspects of the component.
- Analyze and validate supplier and buyer’s quotations by comparing internal cost models and should cost.
- Evaluate cost impact of engineering changes.
- Create and maintain cost tracking reports and graphs for components across multiple vehicle programs.
- Collaborate cross functionally with engineering and purchasing to ensure cost alignment.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor in Engineering (preferably Automotive related)
- 3 years’ experience in cost/technical engineering OEM or Tier 1 background preferred Strong knowledge of design, manufacturing, and cost analysis.
- Experience or knowledge of automotive or related industry ( SENSORS, FUSES, BATTERIES, MOTORS Key Words: PCBs, Injection Molding, Assembly, 12V Lead Acid Batteries)
