WHAT YOU'LL DO:

* Create, review, maintain and provide guidance on welding procedures (WPS),
welding specifications and standard operating procedures for each product
family.
* Inspecting weld samples and/or non-destructive test (NDT) to evaluate weld
quality.
* Set up welding qualification tests and keep welder qualifications updated and
current as required.
* Design, develop and implement fixtures for the welding processes.
* Provide technical guidance and training on welding methods.




* Ensure welders fully understand and correctly interpret the requirements of
drawings and specifications.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement ECN and/or NPI
ensuring compliance of all weld requirements in drawings.
* Work closely with production team and synchro team ensuring successful
completion of welding processes in terms of costs and quality.
* Evaluate welding equipment capabilities and lead capital equipment
justification and procurement.
* Directly troubleshooting welding and quality problems in the floor with
material, equipment, wire feeders, etc.
* ISO Certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgical
Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
* 8+ years relevant welding experience.
* Establish welding standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with
industry codes such as AWS, ASME, and ISO standar
