DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
Project Objective
Support the Strategic Planning team in the analysis, design, and execution of
initiatives that enhance business performance and long-term competitiveness. The
intern will contribute to the annual strategic planning cycle, market analysis,
and performance monitoring to support executive-level decision-making.
Challenges for the Students
* Understanding complex business models and translating them into clear
strategic insights
* Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Working with ambiguity and limited information to propose strategic
recommendations
* Interacting with cross-functional teams and synthesizing diverse inputs
* Developing business cases that balance financial, operational, and strategic
variables
Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out
* Collect and analyze internal and external market data to support strategic
initiatives
* Support strategic projects, including benchmarking, market studies, financial
modeling, and process evaluation
* Document key findings and prepare recommendations for leadership review
* Assist in the preparation of executive presentations, dashboards, and
performance reports
Specific Requirements / Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business
Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
* Ability to research, analyze information, and present conclusions clearly
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables; modeling is a
