Platform Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure & Data Platforms)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize the infrastructure powering enterprise analytics platforms. In this role, you'll manage cloud-native data infrastructure, support production deployments, improve platform reliability, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain production dbt and Airflow environments.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data applications.
- Perform system upgrades, migrations, and scheduled maintenance.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues impacting data pipelines.
- Implement infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Apply security best practices and support compliance initiatives.




- Support ML compute infrastructure and platform scalability.
- Partner with data engineering teams to optimize platform performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for production support.

Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS or another major cloud platform.
- 2+ years managing data platform technologies such as Airflow, dbt, or similar.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Strong Python and Bash scripting skills.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and proxies.
- Experience implementing monitor
