Qualcomm is seeking a Sr. IT Engineer to join the team responsible for supporting and operating enterprise source code management and developer collaboration platforms. This role will provide operational coverage aligned with US time zones and will play a key part in maintaining the reliability, availability, and supportability of critical Git-based systems, including
Gerrit, GitHub, and GitLab
.

The adecuado candidate will bring strong experience in
site reliability engineering, production operations, platform support, and automation
, with the ability to manage day-to-day operational tasks such as incident triage, ticket support, monitoring, access requests, and platform health activities. In addition to operational support, this engineer may contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, tooling enhancements, and backlog stories as business needs permit.

Minimum Qualifications




- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of IT, systems engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related work experience; or Master’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant work experience; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, platforms, or infrastructure in a production environment.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux/Unix system administration, troubleshooting, and operational support.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting or automation using tools such as Python, Shell, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise Git-based source code management platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, and/or Gerrit.
- Experience in production operations, incident response, on-call support, service restoration, and problem management.
- Familiarity with SRE and DevOps practices, including
