Job Description
- Lead the Environmental, Health & Safety function across 2 manufacturing operations.
- Develop and strengthen a proactive safety environment throughout all levels of the organization.
- Build, mentor, and develop the EHS team, establishing capabilities, processes, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Partner closely with operations, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to support business goals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk identification, accident prevention, incident investigations, and corrective action programs.
- Support organizational growth by implementing scalable EHS systems and processes.
- Promote employee engagement and accountability through training, coaching, and leadership presence on the shop floor.
- Drive Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance workplace safety and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful EHS Manager Should Have
- 8 + years leadership experience within manufacturing environments.
- Background in automotive, industrial, metal-mechanical, electronics, or other high-demand manufacturing sectors preferred.
- Experience developing teams, leaders, and organizational capabilities.
- A hands-on leadership style with strong presence on the production floor.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
