The Sales Order Specialist (SOS) will work as part of the Order Services team to support the sales organization in preparing and validating license and support deals. The SOS is responsible for helping sales manage the opportunity to invoice process and for submitting a valid order to the Order Service Coordinator team for processing.
The SOS is also expected to serve as a single point of contact for sales helping sales engage with the BMC ecosystem to facilitate the closing of deals.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC Software's and your own success:
- Provide guidance and support to sales on quote preparation related to Commercial, Legal and RevRec policies, order processing and customer order issues
- Provide Legal Level 1 support and generate contractual agreements for all license lines of business.
- Order Processing - Generate, Review, Validate, verify all orders with focus on accuracy, and Activate for order booking.
- Proactively engage with sales teams and wider Ecosystem to ensure orders are compliant in accordance with Corporate, SOX, Revenue Recognition and/or SSP policies and procedures
- Ensure all approvals are in place prior to paperwork being released to sales.
