Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain existing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Investigate and resolve product, manufacturing, supplier, and field-related technical issues.
- Lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), documentation updates, and product modifications.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to improve product reliability, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Support component obsolescence management and alternative part qualification.
- Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and approve design changes while ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Support production lines by addressing technical concerns and minimizing operational disruptions.
- Maintain engineering documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), drawings, and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Experience supporting products in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of engineering change management processes.
- Experience with CAD systems, ERP/MRP platforms, and engineering documentation.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
