JOB PURPOSE

Leads and drives continuous improvement opportunities for electrical, control,
and automation systems throughout the plant. Responsible for supporting,
developing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and implementing automation and
controls solutions for manufacturing equipment and industrial processes.
Supports engineering and operations teams in automation architecture, equipment
reliability, commissioning, process optimization, system integration, and
continuous improvement initiatives for new and existing equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Automation Systems Reliability & Technical Support




- Ensure reliable operation of automation and control systems supporting
manufacturing processes.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for PLCs, HMIs, servo
systems, robotics, vision systems, and industrial networks.
- Lead corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve equipment
reliability.
- Support maintenance teams in resolving complex automation and controls issues.

2. Controls Engineering & System Development
- Design, develop, modify, and optimize automation and control systems for new
and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and maintain control system architecture, electrical schematics, I/O
layouts, panel designs, and technical documentation.
- Establish and maintain automation standards, programming practices, and system
specifications.
- Support development of process specifications, validation methods, and
performance requirements.
