Role Overview

Lead the Marketplace Seller Acquisition strategy by identifying market opportunities, competitive insights, and assortment white spaces across categories. This role is responsible for defining the short- and long-term vision for Seller and Brand acquisition, driving the expansion of strategic assortment, representing the voice of the Seller within the Marketplace ecosystem, and building strategic partnerships that enable profitable growth. As a key business enabler, this leader will accelerate Marketplace growth through the acquisition of strategic Sellers, Brands, and categories.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the Seller and Brand Acquisition strategy to accelerate Walmart Marketplace growth by identifying new categories, assortment white spaces,



and expansion opportunities.Build and manage strategic partnerships while leading negotiations with key Sellers and Brands to strengthen the Marketplace value proposition and drive sustainable growth.Drive Seller success by leading onboarding, development, and growth initiatives that maximize seller performance, productivity, and long-term business impact.Partner cross-functionally with Category Management, Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other key stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives and deliver business results.Leverage market intelligence, competitive insights, and general best practices to identify new growth opportunities, improve the seller experience, and foster innovation.Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing Business Development team, fostering a culture of execution, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.Drive the evolution of processes, tools, and operating models that enhance team productivity, strengthen the Seller exp
