Job Overview We are seeking a results-driven Civil Engineer specializing in cost estimation and quantity takeoffs for a full-time, remote opportunity. In this position, you will perform detailed material estimates, analyze structural blueprints, manage cost strategies, and guide junior estimators. This role offers excellent stability alongside strong performance-based commission incentives.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision quantity takeoffs and material estimates for commercial and residential construction.
- Build competitive cost estimates and detailed bid packages to support project win rates.
- Train and supervise junior cost estimators to maintain technical accuracy.
- Interpret architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Communicate directly with contractors, project managers, and US clients to finalize project scopes.
Requirements & Skills
- Mandatory software proficiency in Bluebeam and PlanSwift (Required).
- 2+ years of experience in construction cost estimation and quantity takeoffs.
- Experience as a Civil Engineer, Construction Project Manager, Cost Estimator, or Project Engineer preferred.
- Strong technical workspace with high-speed internet and mandatory power backup.
- Advanced English communication skills (both verbal and written) required.
- Must submit an updated resume written in English.
