GM Financial International Operations conducts business in Latin America and China. International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.
Responsibilities
The Compliance Intern is responsible for supporting some of the AML department activities such as upload file for Bridger monitoring of Real Owner and Shareholders, complete databases for new employees’ intake, update information, among other activities.
The Compliance Intern is also responsible to support the Data Privacy department activities such as understanding and registering other departments processes, execute monitoring activities, DRIL updates and Clean Up activities.
The Compliance department is responsible for assisting the company in the management of compliance risk,
collaborating with the different areas to understand and implement the regulatory requirements required by the regulator. Facilitate the detection, management, communication and information of matters related to compliance for senior management; as well as promoting a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

- Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA)
- Monitoring and testing
- Internal and external communications
- Administrative tasks
Support responsibilities of AML Intern role:
- Monitoring and testing
- Create and maintain data bases
- Administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing bachelor in Admin., Business, Economy or related.
- To be 1+ year apart from your graduation date (grad in June 2027-Dec. 2027)
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8am to 3pm.
