Senior Collections Analyst
Description -
Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities:
- Manages a portfolio of customer accounts independently, driving collection strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce aged receivables.
- Resolves collection-related issues independently, including payment delays, disputes, and account reconciliation matters.
- Presents collection risk assessments, aging trends, and recovery recommendations to management.
- Negotiates payment commitments, payment plans,



and resolution strategies with customers and internal stakeholders to accelerate cash collection.
- Analyzes and researches customer receivables portfolios to identify delinquency drivers and determine the most effective collection approach.
- Resolves disputes impacting payment by coordinating with customers and internal partners, ensuring timely resolution and collection of outstanding balances.
- Identifies and addresses trends contributing to slow payment behaviors by engaging cross-functional partners across multiple levels of the organization.
- Leads the dispute resolution process with internal stakeholders, driving accountability and ensuring issues are resolved effectively for both HP and the customer.
- Analyzes at-risk accounts and develops collection strategies to mitigate delinquency, aging exposure, and potential bad debt risk.
