Position Summary

Vertiv is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing the safety, quality, service, cost productivity, and employee morale within the assigned manufacturing department.

The Production Supervisor will act as a liaison between shop-floor teams and management, addressing manufacturing, quality, process, and engineering-related issues. The role involves supervising production operators such as assemblers, inspectors, machine operators, and fabricators to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to production standards.

The adecuado candidate is adaptable to change, able to adjust production schedules, promote two-way communication, foster a strong organizational culture, and continuously drive improvements in processes and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations Management

Supervise and coordinate activities of production staff including assemblers, inspectors,



machine operators, and fabricators.

Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet manufacturing targets.

Maintain capacity plans and adjust production schedules as required.

Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure seamless operations across departments.

Quality & Process Control

Inspect materials, products, and equipment to identify defects or malfunctions.

Monitor gauges, dials, and indicators to ensure operators meet production standards.

Review production schedules, work orders, and operational reports to determine requirements and output.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety and environmental regulations within the production environment.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Team Leadership & Development

Train employees on equipment operations, work procedures, and safety practices.
