We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Java, .NET, and SQL and a solid understanding of banking payment systems, including wire transfers, clearing, and settlement processes. In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and support critical payment applications that process high-volume domestic and international transactions.

The successful candidate will work closely with business partners, operations teams, architects, risk and control organizations, and regulatory stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions. This position requires a combination of strong technical skills, deep banking domain knowledge, and the ability to contribute to complex projects throughout the software development lifecycle.

As a senior-level individual contributor, you will take ownership of key development initiatives, provide guidance to junior team members, and play an important role in delivering reliable solutions that support mission-critical payment operations.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain software applications supporting high-volume domestic and international payment processing.

- Build and support solutions leveraging Java, .NET, SQL, and related technologies in a complex enterprise environment.





- Develop functionality for payment systems, including wire transfers, clearing, settlement, and other banking payment processes.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability.

- Partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, architects, and technology partners to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Ensure applications comply with regulatory, operational, security, and risk management standards.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.

- Contribute to the delivery of complex projects and take ownership of key development workstreams from design through implementation.

- Perform code reviews and promote development best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and less experienced team members.

- Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with risk, control, and compliance partners to ensure technology solutions align with organizational standards and industry regulations.

- Support production environments and assist in the timely resolution of critical incidents impacting payment processing systems.

- Document technical designs, processes, and system enhancements to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills:

- Clear communication skills

- Web service expertise.

- 5 years’ Experience in C#, WCF, MVC/ASP.Net, Web Forms, WEBAPI, jQuery, AJAX, SQL Server, GIT, Subversion.

- 5 years’ Experience in Java/J2EE

- Responsible for Full stack development

- Ability to design modules independently.

- Ability to review new technologies as applicable solutions to new or existing problems

- Work closely with the development team on implementing methodologies

- Must have a solid understanding of SDLC and AGILE development practices

- Provide peer code reviews

- Ensure code and design meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable

- Work with Business Analysts to analyze and convert business requirements into scalable, robust and flexible designs

- Test software components

- Follow configuration management/version control policies

- Investigate and research defects, present solution with estimated work effort and implement

Desired Skills:

- Knowledge of banking systems: real-time payments, domestic wire transfers, ACH Processing, clearing and settlement systems.

- Support payment lifecycle processing including initiation, validation, routing, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.

- Implement integration with core banking and payment platforms.
