Job Description
The Nokia NI Optical Customer Engineer provides professional services for design, integration, migration, upgrade and optimization of complex SWDM, ROADM, OTN, IP/Optical integration and transport network operation. While the initial projects will be Optical Networking related, as part of the Network Infrastructure Customer Engineering team, the NI Customer Engineers will have the opportunity to cross-train and work on IP Networking and Fixed Networking technology projects. As a Customer Engineer, you will be expected to and will have the opportunity to continuously upskill on emerging AI automation tools, building and utilizing AI agents to innovate workflows and accelerate productivity.

What You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Network Design & Architecture: Develop and optimize network architectures and service designs, ensuring the best solutions to support customer requirements.
- Integration, Migration & Upgrades: Deliver network integration, migration, and upgrade services for network elements and network management solutions.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct comprehensive testing, including network readiness and customer acceptance tests, and troubleshooting issues in various stages of deployment. Determine acceptance test strategies, develop, and
