About the company

We are a B2B marketing agency serving fabrication shops, engineering firms, and construction service providers across North America. Our clients operate in technical industries where buyers are engineers, operations managers, and procurement teams who expect to speak with someone who understands their world.
This is not a generic call center environment. The conversations are technical, the callers are sophisticated, and the standard is high.

About the role

As a Technical Lead Vetter you are the first voice a prospect hears on behalf of our clients. Your job is to have an intelligent conversation, gather the right information, and hand off a complete, accurate lead summary so the sales team can determine value and next steps quickly.
You will handle inbound and followup calls for clients across fabrication, engineering, and construction. You need to understand their world well enough to ask the right questions, use the right terminology, and earn the respect of people who will know immediately if you do not belong in the conversation.
Your technical credibility is the product.

What you will do

Answer inbound calls on behalf of multiple clients across fabrication, engineering, and construction
Conduct professional lead qualification conversations using industryappropriate technical terminology
Gather complete project information scope, timeline, budget range, decisionmaking process, and technical requirements
Summarize calls accurately and enter structured lead notes into the clients CRM platform
Follow up with prospects by phone and email to gather missing information or confirm next steps
Collaborate with client sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff
What we are looking for
One hard requirement.

Everything else we treat as a strong plus.

The one nonnegotiable
Native or nearnative English fluency, spoken and written. You must be able to hold a natural, confident conversation with engineers and business owners from any region of the US. Nearnative is the floor, not the preference.

Strong candidates will have most of these

Background in fabrication, engineering, construction, or industrial services. You must already understand the vocabulary, the process, and what questions matter.
Experience in a customerfacing role. Comfortable on the phone, professional under pressure, able to keep a conversation on track.
Proficiency in CRM platforms, Excel, and Gmail. You will be entering lead data accurately in real time.
Strong written communication. Your lead summaries and followup emails must be clear, accurate, and professional.
Reliable internet and a quiet, professional workspace with no background noise during working hours.
Adecuado backgrounds
The strongest applicants typically come from one of these backgrounds. You do not need all of them but one or more is a significant advantage.

Estimator at a fabrication shop you understand project scoping, pricing structures, and how to extract the right information from a prospect conversation
Applications engineer or technical sales engineer customerfacing, wellrounded, comfortable translating technical requirements into business language

Project manager for commercial or industrial construction you understand timelines, stakeholders, and what decisionmakers care about
Sales representative for a fabrication shop or industrial services company you know how to qualify a lead and what makes one worth pursuing
Mechanical or industrial engineer with customerfacing experience note this is not a design engineering role and pure design engineers are not a fit

What this role is not

This is not a sales role. You are not closing deals or hitting revenue targets.
This is not an estimating role. You are gathering information, not producing quotes.
This is not a general VA or admin role. You must have genuine technical industry knowledge.
This is not a role for someone with only call center or generic customer service experience. The conversations require real technical credibility.
If this does not describe you, this role is not the right fit.

What you can expect

A longterm fulltime role with a clear path. This is not a short project.
Direct, honest communication. You will always know where you stand.
A team that respects your expertise and treats you as a professional.
Competitive pay with flexibility for the right person. If you are genuinely exceptional we will pay for that.
Stable clients in a growing niche. Fabrication and industrial services are in high demand and not going away.
