Smart Education is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work across a range of SEN schools in the Birmingham area.
These schools cater for pupils aged 9 19 years with a variety of needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and medical needs.

**Job requirements**:
- Previous experience of working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable)
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
**Role responsibilities**:
- Supporting pupils aged 9 19 years with diverse SEN needs
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Encouraging independence, engagement and confidence in learning
- Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support
